<strong>VSE – Video Security Essentials </strong>is the one-day <span style="color: #ff0000; font-size: 24px;"><strong>in-class </strong></span>training which offers a comprehensive guide to help participants effectively select, adopt, and configure UniFi Protect cameras and sensors to establish a complete video security and surveillance system suitable for a commercial environment. The class balances security camera theory with practical, hands-on laboratory work. Students will utilize the latest UniFi Protect hardware throughout a series of labs to set up various detection and notification functions, including advanced features such as facial and license plate recognition.

• Configuring sensors to capture specific events</p>
<p><strong> Detection Types<br />
</strong>• Enable recordings and comparing motion detection, AI and Advanced AI detections. ​<br />
• Adjust detection areas and creating custom zones for recording. ​<br />
• Implement crossing line detection and loitering for customized alarm management</p>
<p><strong>NVR Walkthrough<br />
</strong>• Create live views and multi-camera playback walkthroughs. ​<br />
• Set up Vantage Point views to see across multiple NVRs<br />
• Manage global recordings and system settings, including facial recognition.</p>

</strong>• Explore Alarm Manager and create various alarms based on camera and sensor detections<br />
